Just a quick note to let you know I appreciate the advise, tips, strategies, freebies, recommendations and insight you've provided to me over the last few months I've been on your list.

I don't know what it is exactly, but certain people I instinctively know I want to white list in my email account.  It's probably a combination of things - like not sending me three sales pitch messages a day (or even one a day, every darn day), or not getting the same message multiple times the same day because the sender doesn't use a duplicate remover software, or maybe its just the lack of hype.

Whatever it is, I white listed you soon after reading a message or two from you AND I also have archived most of your instructional messages for future reference.  Keep it up!

Behavior: Master Key To Success In Entrepreneurship

Throughout much of the literature on how to create more success faster as an entrepreneur there is much discussion about mindset, attitude, and beliefs. However, much of this literature fails to discuss the one most important factor in an entrepreneur's success: behavior.

Behavior is the most superficial determinant of all success and also seems to be the most neglected aspect studied by entrepreneurs. If you want to achieve more entrepreneurial success faster, then it is best to focus on behavior; not only your own behavior but possibly even more importantly the behavior of other entrepreneurs that have already achieved the level or type of success that you desire.

Because it is the ultimate outward manifestation of everything that is occurring inside the mind of an entrepreneur, behavior is a powerful predictor of positive characteristics and habits that produce success. It is important to have the right mindset, a positive attitude, and belief systems that support your role as an entrepreneur; however, the day-to-day focus on your behaviors and what results they are generating is the key to discovering which of them are increasing your ability to succeed or outright sabotaging it.

At the conclusion of each working day and working week it is to your absolute benefit to review "how you did." What results did you create today or this week? Are these results moving me closer or further away from achieving my goals or my targets? What behaviors caused these results? What behaviors do I need to improve upon or eliminate to produce new results that are more in alignment with my vision for my future, goals, targets, or objectives? No matter what you want, getting it usually requires change; and knowing what change is required is essential to your ability to achieve it.

These questions are important to your success in entrepreneurship and you must consider them frequently to gain insights into what you are doing that is either supporting or sabotaging your success. Additionally, if you want to discover what causes one entrepreneur to achieve more success than the other in seemingly less time with less effort, then take a look and evaluate both entrepreneur's behaviors. It should not take you long at all to identify the differences. If you have a mentor or if there are entrepreneurs you admire for their success then study their behavior to learn their secrets.

Once you have established what it is that each entrepreneur does that makes him or her more successful than another, then you can apply what you have learned to your own career in entrepreneurship. What behaviors are you doing now that are not moving you closer to your goals that need to be eliminated? What behaviors are you doing now that are moving you closer to your goals, but are not being done frequently or consistently enough?

Knowledge and skill are obviously necessary components of success but if you are not able to observe and understand how these are being implemented in you and in others, then you do not hold the keys to success. Take the time now while this information is fresh in your mind and write these questions down. Answer them and you may be surprised or feel enlightened by what you discover.
